Windscreen ID help
Discussion
After speaking to a neighbour of mine, he has shown me this windscreen that he has lying about in his shed, and I thought I'd open it to the masses to see who can identify it...
Something healey is my best guess, but before the days of Austin Healey, but I'm sure someone will know for sure.
It's very narrow, possibly 1000mm ish, with a wiper hole arrangement on one side. Folds down, and it looks as though the fittings (knobs etc..) are nickel, and very well conserved.
There looks like the bracket that mounts to the body is very curved, so i think is is from a very small sportscar, possibly pre-war, and there is what is left of a rubber flat seal around the bottom.
Over to you...
