Help! Things to do near NEC this Friday?

Hi guys - hope you can help.
I'm playing taxi driver on Friday to take my daughter and friends to the 1 direction concert at the LG arena. I refuse to go along with my 12yr old son so am looking for something to do for a couple of hours in the general area while we wait to pick them up.
Was hoping there was a bowling alley or similar close by but not having much luck on google.

So hoping you guys can provide some suggestions

You could go to Solihull which is 1 junction south on the M42 or Coventry along the A45 where you will find cinemas & the like as well as decent places to eat etc.

There's an Ice-Rink 10-15 minutes drive away.

Motorcycle museum only a stones throw from NEC


Or Coventry transport Museum a little further away



Concert in evening? museums maybe not such a good idea
