You know who you are. Black 206 GTI180. Registration noted. Kincardine towards Dunfermline A985 today. 4.45pm. Distinctive exhaust flapping off the back.

Firstly: Where was the fire?

Secondly: Given the time and the weather: sleet/snow/reduced visibility, that was some of the worst examples of driving I've seen in quite a while.

After the roundabout at Kincardine, heading up the hill I spotted your poorly aligned HIDS/LED combination in my rear view first. Even in my rear view it was not hard to see that you were well in excess of the speed limit, without taking into account the awful conditions.

Admittedly, the SPCA van that pulled out from the side road on the left misjudged your speed. I witnessed your hazards flickering as slammed the anchors, swung out and overtook him, full offside with a van coming towards you, and back in with barely feet to spare. Whoops, that was close.

Nope, you haven't learned from that near miss. You're approaching me. Quick. Now you're tailgating me.

Before you could see round the next set of blind left/right hand bends where the long straight begins you were already passing me... what was that: oh yes, the Mondeo that wasn't expecting YOU to be on his side of the road mounting the verge trying to avoid YOU.

You then repeated this manoeuvre a further 3 times (that I could see) as the visibility was horrendous, the Focus, the Citylink bus and the Scirocco each time causing oncoming traffic to flash you/take avoiding action. You're lucky the police van coming the opposite way didn't catch the last overtake.

I fully expected to see you kill yourself or someone else you absolute arse. I like a spirited drive when time and traffic/road conditions allow, that was not the time my friend, even in perfect conditions that was complete fkwittery.

I was carrying my partner and infant child in my car, had you been a second later when you overtook me you would have seriously injured or killed us all.

If you see this post, take note, you're lucky you don't have the cops at your door, unless one of the other drivers you scared the jesus out of hasn't already reported you.

Watch this advert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMWyIsBCreE and have a think.

Rant over.

Even then Steve, I'm sure you wouldn't bring other drivers into it. You'd be doing it on a clear road I'd hope.

You should report him. It'll be in the police computer then and he'll get routinely stopped and checked to make sure he's not drunk/smoking weed.

I had a similar but much shorter experience when a VW Cordoba. Passed me doing well over a tonne at a hatched junction area. Passed him a mile down the road while doing the speed limit as him and his other friend in an S2000 were stuck doing 30 behind a tractor on a straight bit of road! Somebody needs to teach these kiddies how to drive!

Goes without saying. I meant 'spirited' drive when road and weather conditions allow, minus blind overtakes, offside into oncoming traffic and the other tomfoolery I witnessed.

My partner obtained his reg and put it in her phone but it appears a digit is missing, so reporting the nutter is not possible.

I'm sure if you reported it, even minus the digit, it wouldn't take the police too long to search for a 206 with more or less identical plate, most likely registered nearby.
