dash buttons

when I was looking in footwell I noticed a push switch under the dash, there is also a 2 or 3 position switch there also does anyone know what they are for

Three speed cold air for the driver .. mostly fitted in the early cars .. Push switch is the boot opener or could be a radiator fan over ride.

Push switch is the dash lights afaik.

On mine the push switch to the left of the steering column is the one you accidentally hit with your knee and then wonder why the dash/panel lights don't work.
The one to the right is the boot release.
