Interesting mine says it's 350ft.lb and 340bhp but as you've already said "you know Blackpoool"

I think my book quotes that for the 450. (In reality it's 270lbft).

I'd make a guess that a 500 would be 290-300lbft in reality.

320 ft.lbs @4000 rpm .. is the more common 5 litre version after they `detuned' the later ones tio drive a littel betterv at low speed. The 320 Blackpool Horse Power (bhp) 5000cc model.



They listed the 4500cc at 4500rpm as 300ft.lbs

and the good old 4000cc at 4500rpm as 260 ft.lbs

Hope that helps things...probably not though

........and the 4.3 at 305 ft/lbs

Remember early 5.0L were 340 bhp, later reduced to 320 bhp. All "quoted" outputs btw.....

Mine was around 290 lbft unmodified on the Austec Rolling Road, now comfortably the other side of 300 following a few tweaks thanks to Tim, Paul and Mark.
