Infrequently, but moreso recently, I have been getting pain in my left forearm.

It isn't shooting pain or sharp pain and does not travel to my upper arm at all, purely just on the inside of my forearm pretty much right in the middle.

It's a very dull, but bloody strong pain. Sounds daft saying is dull but painful but it is, when it comes on I can't think of much else until it goes!

Anyone had anything similar? I may try and get to the doctors tomorrow but am very busy at work. Hopefully it's just a muscle pain but who knows. Had it last night and again in a meeting today and all I could think to do was try and massage my arm a bit but didn't really help at all.

I had something like that when I picked up my new bike and was in stop start traffic for a lot of the way back, using the clutch like that and holding it in for a while strained the tendons/muscles in my left forearm.

But I had not ridden a bike in about 2 years so the muscles and tendons were not used to that sort of thing, put some movelat cream on it and it took the pain away for about 4 hours after i applied it.

or it could be wkers cramp :P

I did think it could've been the bike but with the weather being st I've only used it a handful of times. More likely wkers cramp!

What are you doing when it happens?

What is you job? Office based? Is it you mouse-hand for e.g.?

Do you exercise?

Are you healthy?

Are you fit?

Well last night I was in bed 'chilling', today was in a meeting. I'm right handed so use my tight for mouse and writing, work is office based. Only time my left forearm gets a workout is on the bike with a reasonable heavy clutch but due to the weather I've not ridden much recently.

I could be fitted and healthier I guess but I am only 22

forgot to ask, how long does the pain usually last?

cause it its just a few mins, not too sure about that, I would go to the GP, but if its hours and when you move it, then it might have been the clutch on the bike, but might not be at the same time, BUT, volterol or movalat cream will really help you out, movalat is a painkiller and anti inflammatory and works quite well.

when I used it on my arm, it really hurt just to make a fist not even squeezing, and after applying the cream could make a tight fist squeezing quite hard with only a tiny bit of pain.

But I think the latter is prescription only.

Sounds unlikely to be muscular, tendon or ligament then. Not unless severe atrophy.

Could be Rheumatism, circulation or nervous?

I've had this for the past week or 2

I wonder if its lying on the sofa using my ipad, tried to change the habit but it still feels painful.
