The fact it runs is a good start! I'd be inclined to let it get up to temperature to see if anything leaks first then drop the fluids out as part of a service. I've not done a Jag but fired up a Volvo that had been stood dormant for about six years this way...just took it steady, the motor will warn you soon enough if all is not well.

As for flushing, can't do any harm as long as whatever you use isn't too agressive.

I would advise against flushing the lubrication system, especially if the engine is dirty and neglected. it can lead to oil leaks by removing contamination from seals, weaken head gaskets and dislodge sludge contained in the sump and circulate it round the engine. In extreme cases this circulating sludge can block oil galleries leading to oil starvation and a ruined engine.

Better to bring the engine up to temperature and change the oil and filter a couple of times IMO.

Flushing the cooling system and radiator is always a good idea though. Using water pressure from a hose in both directions through the radiator and heater matrix will increase efficiency and gives you the opportunity to change the coolant, which is not just antifreeze but also has anti corrosion properties which become depleted over time.
