Having trouble installing an updated version of Panda Antivirus software as not all of the computers have been set up in administrator mode (i blame the company's 'mad professor')

Anyone got any ideas how to get administrator status back onto these computers?

TIA

Only an Administrator can define who has Administrator rights over a PC.

I don't think any programes exisit that allow you to bypass this.

Panda isn't recommended personally, i would suggest McAfee VirusScan over any other anti virus programe.

If its a Win2k or WinXP box, right click the shortcut icon for the install program and select "Properties".

In the "Shortcut" tab of the properties pane, tick the box marked "Run as different user". Close the properties pane.

Right click the shortcut again and select "Run as". Enter the login & password for a user with Administrator rights on the PC.

Hopefully job done.
