Folks! Was driving to work this morning, half way there the steering wheel gets very wobbly and shaky. Parked up and had a look to see the inevitable! furious

After much swearing, sweating a little sobbing, I changed the tyre for the rubbish space saver that BMW thinks is adequate!

Had a look at the tyre and saw a decent size stone wedged in the tread! I'm hoping it can be plugged and I can be on my way as i've just bought the car and it has new tyres on all round!

With this in mind, can any of you locals help a fellow Norfolker out and recommend me a decent place to get this changed?

Virtual bag of revels will be awarded.

I've been using Tyre Trax on North Walsham Road. Only the one bloke who works there as far as I know, but he's always reasonable on price. Failing that, Swiftfit on Salhouse Road.

They have excellent service and Kat is the best "storeman" anywhere but I don't know how their prices compare on tyres. Good for competition stuff though.

I have never had much joy with SCA. They can be a bit "know it all". Also if ever I have ordered anything from them they don't carry in stock, they have tried to charge carrage to have the part delivered to there shop. I'm all for using local shops and try to avoid ordering items on the internet where possable, but they are more expensive and they still want to charge postage.

I do agree kat is great its the old boy ( I think the owner) which is the problem.
