Proposed meet up at my place near Dorking, easy to find.
If this is still on then I will be pleased to provide refreshments and bacon butties etc.
Rumour has it that a keen tivey wants to change a cam in return for providing lots of cider, (that wont get done then!).
Plenty of room and a decent garage to fiddle in

!I am hoping to have mine up and running and may nervously drive down to Pompey in it next week.
I would be willing to come along and help but....
There will be jobs needing doing on mine also. Need to bend a bit of tube up for the bolt in door bar and want to relocate my battery in the boot for atarters.

Hopefully I'll attend, talk of my increadeble driving the week before, smile. If it's gonna be cold hard graft I'll turn up in the afternoon, if it's a piss up as I suspect I'll be there by10.30am, lol. So how are we for jobs to do! I fancy abit of gutter fitting, I might have new dash panels by then, is it feasible, not bothered I'm happy to muck in and help others Peter. Do you have an itinerary?! Alun.

I will bring the Rover Gauge software, laptop and cable (blitzracing's bit of kit) for a lesson on setting whatever can be set on a 14CUX. And will be very interested in everything else except alcohol, as I will have to drive home again.

Well QBee we can have a look at my new engine set up if you like. I'm all standard electrics, everything new so should give an idea, I'm really up for that. Yeah me to I'll probably have to drive back so coffee on tap is the main thing Peter.
So am I going to witness a Cam change, I never keep up! Bloody sad but that's exciting to me, lol.
Peter, good news I got your old wheel repaired. Jeez I'd flattened it! Even better news is in an old barn next to the wheel repairer was aVW nut! Spends his life polishing his rocket. Lol going to take wheels to him see what he can do, his Passat must be worth 40,000, it's that polished! Really cool guy actually, so Alls well and all that!
