Basically, I'm going along minding my own, car joins behind me on an island and speeds up to the back of me, flashing hazards every 10 seconds. Thinking something was wrong with my car after the guy following me off a turning, but when I indicate to pull over the guy doesn't even make eye contact as he accelerates past?? confused can't see anything wrong with my car (nothing hanging off, tyres all have air, hazards work :P) what did he want? Can't think of anything other than the big PH smiley on the back drawing attention to me, are you here silver Laguna driver? Or was it just some guy wanting a race...

Any theories factual, or mildly entertaining welcomed.

Have you checked to see if anyone has put a bumper sticker on the back
"flash me if you swing too?"
Just a thought!

Thought that may have been the case although he was driving relatively sedately, normally when someones after a race they're connected to the rear offside and gesticulating too :P anyway wasn't really the time or place where I was

Bad connection/dodgy relay?
Lynching the sister to check properly I have all the brake lights before return voyage, hopefully won't look a tool because I do check them regularly! smile

I was following a guy driving a car with the brake lights constantly on, I assumed he was resting his foot on the brake pedal. I over took him (safely) and put my hazards on and tapped my brakes a few times. He gave me a thumbs up and pulled over.

If I see someone flash or hazard like that, I'll assume something it up and either slow down or check the motor over.

I meant his indicator relay.
Ah! Get what you mean now :] maybe I should have been the one trying to get his attention! hehe anyway all is well with my car so either he wanted a race or his car was being a Renault wink
