Inspection at dealers
Discussion
So I'm going to look at a high milage 320d (E90) tomorrow and I'm a little nervous about all the Swirl Flap... Blown Turbo..... DPF issues I've been reading about.
The cars on 126k miles with a full service history. Not got much info on how many owners, whats been replaced etc so I'll check that when I see it.
Was wondering whether its worth getting it inspected by an independnant like AA?
Your thoughts?

Driveline isn't, unlike their other warranties, excluded from >100k cars (I was surprised as well)http://www.bmw-warranty.co.uk/Pages/Information.as...

Thanks, i'll have a look, out of interest, whats a reasonable price to pay for a warranty?
I pay £29 per month with £250 excess (includes basic recovery and roadside assistance)Ok eats into some of the diesel economy savings, but.safe guards against turbo failure (circa. £1200 odd) or full on engine implod at £xxxx
