Are there a lot of these about at the moment?

Had stomach ache on and off since Thursday night with the occasional bout of the runs and although it eased Sunday and Monday it has flared up again today.

I can really do without it at the moment, I have loads on at work that I can't cancel and don't have a day off for 10 days.

Anything I can do apart from water, dioralyte, sleep and the odd immodium?

Not sure what's triggered it. I am in and out of schools, and I am very tired and stressed at the moment.

Could be Rotavirus, very common in young children in winter (you mentioned school) and if you have not had it as a child, it can spread to adults.

It should be fairly obvious, I would have thought. You are a bit run down and working in a place full of warm, moist creatures where viruses love to frolic. Yes, there are stomach viruses about and about the only thing you can do, for yourself anyway, are those things you have mentioned. Though for the benefit of the children and others you should probably stay away until you are better.
