Can anyone suggest a good dealer for the above or should I just go direct?
In the US or over here.
I don't usually get involved with speccing and buying turbos, but have had to get a bit more involved with an engine I'm building.
With the £ at an all time low against the $$ I couldn't have picked a worse time!

If you need advice with Spec, Owens Turbo's are a Precision dealer.
If you know what you need then you could also try Powermax Engineering in Cookstown ( local to me ). Ive bought from them before and prices were keen.
Although maybe Owens are likewise. Sometimes smaller businesses are a little more price friendly though.

There is no info on there whatsoever and they don't keep stock, it's all 'to order', I'm not happy with getting info from businesses I have no intention of buying from (I wouldn't want to be treated the same way.I rang PTE, their site is also a bit scant on info. I spoke to some gormless American, but got pretty much what I needed.
Powermaxes 'site looks very promising, lots of information on there so I'll probably give them a ring, see what they say and hopefully put some business their way if their prices are competitive with importing myself.

They do hold some stock at Powermax, but compared to English companies they are very small, so there wont be a lot.. They ordered a unit in for me pretty quickly last time I got one.te! Likewise did the same, just contacted Precision directly and discussed needs, then bought the turbo via Powermax.
