If anyone is about on Friday and fancies coming across to Oulton Park or is there like us on a trackday, I will be there with a few mates learning the track in a silver M3 and trying out our racing gear, pop along for a coffee or beer, more the merrier!!!

Hi Martin, its an open track day, so all you need is your licence + paper part and a car. We are there all day Friday.

Had a great day at Oulton Park, wet in the morning, but dried towards mid afternoon. First time I drove it in the Noble I didn't enjoy it, its quite intimidating, this time in our M3 had a great time. Just out of interest, what times would be expected in a Noble or have been set. I managed a 2:10 in a standard M3 on road tyres. Not quite do good was the £600 plus fuel bill yikes American V10 petrol bus, dragging 1.5ton of Bavarian metal drops the mpg to about 8!!!! LPG conversion is now on the cards.

Had a test day at Donnington last Tuesday ready for final testing and race there Friday race on Sarurday. We hired a VBox setup and have yet to get the footage. Should have an interesting bit of me out-breaking myself at Roberts chicane and going into the gravel backwards, closely followed by a Radical who was watching me get it all wrong and thought he would have a go as well!!! He managed to stop all but one inch or so from the front of our car. I feel I'm of the pace from Oulton, can't get Redgate corner, too much speed in and slow out is costing, probebly the same at the old hairpin.
Testing on Friday and a chance to look at the data fully so need to work these areas to improve.
I have no uploads yet but thought I'd post a link to the footage and highlights from Oulton, yes the second car to spin is ours!!!!! Hope you injoy and gives some insite into the race series I'm in:

For a standard car anything under 2 mins is very good, I have a talented friend who can do 1.53 in a bog standard 996 gt3 rs, its a technical track that can bite so best to build up your speed slowly.

No, our car is number 62 being driven by Dave knowles. Blue with white stripes. I'm starting this time at Donnington. We get picked our grid position by being pulled out of a hat. Rolling start, so need to make sure I don't get mugged as others have, thinking everyone will hold their position until they cross the line!!!!
