HOW TO SPLIT CAMSHAFT CHAIN

I need to split a double row cam chain that I want to install that has no special removal clip on the link unlike the old original chain.I dont want to dismantle the engine to do this.what is the recommended way to do this that will leave the chain 100% reliable.

If the chain is not designed to be split then I doubt there is a way to do it.
Also where will you buy the removable link?

1st you need to find out if there is a soft link available for you new chain, otherwise i would not split it.
