PCM show traffic information

I have just purchased a 2012 Cayenne and am trying to get to grips with the PCM system.

Can anyone explain how traffic information is displayed on the screen.

I have seen flashing green arrows on a couple of occasions but it does not seem to show traffic congestion when in Map view

would also be interested to see responses on this. I love my Cayenne but I have a major gripe about the SatNav. It rarely displays relevant traffic info and as a result its arrival times are usually wildly optmistic. I use Google Maps on my iPhone at the same time to get a sense of the quickest route and a reliable ETA

Last time for me it showed a no entry sign on the screen , when we got to the roundabout the diversion was signposted.

Push info button, then traffic messages.

On my previous car (Audi Q7) when in map mode congestion would show up as a red line on the side of the road where the
problem was.

Is there nothing like this on the Cayenne

Do you have to be in the navigation screen and have a route running to get any traffic info
