Had a few of these recently with absolutely no regard for other road users.
Stopping in the middle of the road to answer the phone. The last one was a lorry on a blind bend.
Shirley thats more dangerous than just answering the phone and carrying on driving. Which i do not condone.

Bump..... What's more concerning is the fact that I'm concerned about this issue and there seems to be a total lack of concern about this.

Nobody?

Yet more evidence of what happens when you let stupid people drive.

What Ari said ^^^^^.

The people who do it are not thinking about how their car affects everyone else. They're idiots with no spacial awareness.

This isn't just about drivers though. The fact is that nobody is that important. If your mobile rings you don't have to answer it.

Let's be frank; it won't be an important call. I reckon 99% of mobile calls are between family members asking "when will you be home?", or "what's for me tea?", or "Ha ha ha! Have you seen what Somebody Of No Consequence has just tweeted?"

If you are in a car, and you stop in the road to answer a call, the you're a bellend. And if you're having a real-life, face-to-face conversation with me and you stop me, mid-sentence, to answer an irrelevant mobile phone call, then that's your first strike. Of one.
