CRV Stereo upgrade

Hey, I pick up my 2006 CRV tonight.

The wife isnt particuarly good at parking so she asked me to get rear sensors installed. I have been thinking about it and I would also like to upgrade the stereo to include bluetooth phone etc.

It seems logical to get something like this incorporating a reverse camera.

Does anyone have any experience of this type of upgrade? Is it a straight swap in regards to the head unit?

Hope you're pleased with your CRV so far.

You may get more responses if you ask for advice in the "sat nav systems" part of General Gassing.

I don't have any experience of that unit you linked to, and (rightly or wrongly) I'm a bit suspicious of any unfamiliar brands that you can only buy on ebay.

Have you considered a Pioneer App Radio, with a rear view camera added?

Whatever you install, you will need a harness adaptor, something like this:
