VANTAGE 06 CLEAR BACK LIGHTS WANTED
Discussion
hi, first time on here so please be gentle lol this is my second vantage and the first of which had clear rear lights which i really liked, i didnt have them fitted but bought them already on the car, i have seen dealer offers in 2012 looking back etc and some boasting of £600 fitted :-) and occasionally some on ebay, mostly minus any warranty. can anyone recommend somone where i can get them as cheap as possible as really keen to replace mine if possible, thanks for your help in advance :-)

No software needed, dealer myth!
Yes there is. The car just needs to BR told that the bulbs (and therefore the bulb failure warnings) are being replaced with LEDs if your car is old enough; according to Chiltern Aston anyway. My 06 needed. When I had mine fitted, it has to be done via the 'workshop' rather than the 'bodyshop' because of this.
Can't see them lying about it

Can you use a socket set? Do you own a socket set? If you answered yes to both then do it yourself. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins. Undo 3 nuts either side, disconnect plug & refit new one.

Mines a 55 plate, Stratstone assured me it wouldn't work without a reflash. They were wrong. Plug & play, don't get suckered in. When I had mine fitted, it has to be done via the 'workshop' rather than the 'bodyshop' because of this.
