I've noticed the yellow low mileage Irish Griff. It's just to rich for me but I started to wonder if there's any big hoops to jump through to receive an English number plate etc?

I guess it's just a matter of getting the car on a ferry and driving the car back home?

No guarantee it has a NI plate in the 1st place! My car spent its life in England yet had a NI plate from new and was supplied by English TVR dealer and always serviced with English dealerships. Assume possibly original owner from our side and wanted the local reg. Car subsequently got a cherished Tvr related plate 5 yrs back.
All academic, as you say £30k a bit rich for you, and would be for me too!!
If you're not in a hurry keep an eye open for Tvrs on Irish websites. Apparently some folk from ROI buy Tvrs in UK and keep for a year without paying import duty or VRT on them, and then try to sell back to UK to avoid taxes. Good luck with your search, it took me 5 mths to get the car I wanted!

Keep being drawn to the yellow griff in NI. Not sure if yellow is a popular colour choice albeit I think it looks good. £30k pushes the car into SE territory and seems a little steep bearing in mind it is a 99 car?

The yellow one from Bristol (in the Classifieds) is a really nice car - and a very good price too....
