Portable DVD power adapter

I have a Sony portable DVD and need a new power adapter (cable has split and showing the wires).
The original one has an output of 9.5v but all the replacements I can find (non-Sony, can't find the original for sale) give an output of 9v.
Will the loss of .5v make any difference?
