Tuscan Europe Road Trips- Best picture

Looking outside my window right now, it seems impossible to handle even the simplest daily tasks without the assistance of valium & vodka. Maybe I should talk to Frank. But I doubt Frank has the power to change the ugly weather outside.

Something positive is urgently needed, something well worth looking forward to. Something like a... a nice road trip. Not just a road trip, it must be somewhere really nice. The trip to the local fish & chips shack won't do. Sunshine. Roof off. That sort of thing.

There are still months to go till we can enjoy that (or weeks if under the optimistic influence of V & V), so why not inject a bit of day- dreaming and share some nice pics of exactly that in the meantime? That should keep us going.

Only criteria I would suggest is that picture has been taken AFTER leaving LeShuttle (southbound). Oh and a Tuscan, of course.

Flew to the south of France 3 weeks ago to pick this up, the last owner did a very good job leaving it parked with this view as i pulled up. Having never driven a TVR before i thought it would be a good drive back to get familiar with the car..... 18 hours of driving 40mph in the snow i was not convinced.

This is from a couple of years ago. Ferry from South Shields to Amsterdam then nice tour around Northern Europe including a stop at Spa and a very nice drive through Paris centre. The Tuscan was the perfect tool for the job..

Monday, I left to push on down to Nuremburg, clouds cleared and sunshine.



Great road trip, saw a mate in Nuremburg, had a few beers, and then back on the Thursday
