I'm looking for statistics on the % of cars currently on the road by manufacturer, e.g. 15% Ford, 12.5% Vauxhall, 8% Peugeot, etc. so that's everything from cars just sold to cars that have been on the roads for decades.

It needs to be based on how many are on the road rather than how many were sold in a certain period. Does anybody know of a specific source of this information?

Ta,

I'd have thought that a look at Autotrader would give some sort of indication.

I needed something specific for business planning purposes. Also, now I know that for every Fiat on the road, there are nearly 6 Fords

I recall BMW taking the the crown from Ford some years ago. Must be VAG stuff now, can't move for the ugly damned things everywhere.

Take a look at the stats. They're not new car sales but cars still on the road but Ford are still way out in front. BMW might be winning in certain categories but Ford still sell huge volumes of cars through many sectors.

Interesting.

Running a polar discrepancy report from the norms shows that London nicked all the Mercs from the North East.
