Any reason why you want a Vaio?

I'm a mac guy (ever tried one? i got used to mine within a week... and i wouldn't even consider a windows computer now unless i was forced to out of software choice) but ive always thought Dells are better than Sony?

Anyone with more insight?

ps. buy a Powerbook

Used to Windows, want to link it top my desktop PC. I know Powerbooks are good, but don't want a MAC.

Sounds like you need to work out what your requirements are, use them to decide on the appropriate model and then hit Google.

Got me one of these : http://reviews.designtechnica.com/review952.html

Ok, doesn't have internal drives etc but it's the first laptop that I've had that I'll carry to work every day. As a bonus everyone who sees it goes OOooooo, nice.

Here. I think it was Dabs or Scan (I'll have a look when I get home). One of those drunk gadget buying battles with the chap I site next to at work. He got an HP tablet pc. Nice, but double the weight and that's want I needed. I think PC World Business (yes, really) had a good deal on them not long ago.

Cheers

Phil

I have an A197VP but it might be a bit too much as it sports a 1920 x 1200 XBlack 17" widescreen monitor.

I love that super slim Sony though!

Got to get me one of those!
