Is it just me or do stoke play no football whatsoever, utter tripe championship at best, and that is being generous

Played some really good Football when they beat us earlier in the season.

I was impressed with how far they had come on from what they used to be like.

Stoke play to their strengths and whilst it might not be the prettiest football to watch, their league position(s) confirm its effectiveness..

The question : "How do people watch Stoke WEEK IN WEEK OUT "

The fact is the way Stoke play is down to the manager,we didn't always play this way you know and we probably won't play this way after Pulis has left.
Do you actually think most Stoke fans want to watch football played this way ? Haven't you noticed the media reports on the fans unrest in recent weeks ?

In a nutshell the fans have endured it because it got results, now it's not even achieving that...1 win in 10,8 wins in the last 41,lowest goals scored etc etc......a lot of fans are now questioning Pulis as manager.A recent poll has 67% wanting a change of manager.
Yet fundamentally it's not about the results but the style of football and many have had enough....so,the answer to your question is because they have no choice if they are Stoke City supporters.

Read Stephen Foster's books She Stood There Laughing & She Laughed No More. It probably won't completely answer your question but they are great books about the weird obsession of following Stoke through thick and thin.
