Hi everyone, I'm a long time lurker, never bothered to register. I'm from New Zealand, ex South African and have been living here in NZ for 8 years.
I absolutely love cars, grew up with them, my Dad had a Nissan Franchise in South Africa, as well as Alfa Romeo, Renault and Fiat.
Cars I had in South Africa include the following:
Nissan Rasheen
Nissan Almera
Nissan 200SX
Chrysler PT Cruiser (Only had this a few weeks)
Alfa Romeo 147 Selespeed
Renault Megane 1.9 Diesel
Fiat Punto 1.2
Sadly I don't have photos of all of these, only the Alfa and the Rasheen. Just when I moved to NZ my laptop was stolen, and I had no backups.
I only have photos of the Rasheen and the Alfa.

We sold the Punto before I moved to New Zealand, within two weeks of arriving in NZ I bought a 1999 Toyota Celica in Carbon Blue, it was the 6 spread manual version, I believe it's known as the 190 GT in the UK.
I bought it completely standard and added a few things. It was a lovely car and never gave me any trouble.
This was then sold because I had the need for something more practical, say hello to a 2002 Nissan Wingroad, it was known a Wingroad Aero 20ZX, two litre with a CVT gearbox. Really enjoyed this car, I bought it with the Work CR Kai wheels already on it, only thing I added was a tow bar to tow my kart and a couple of months before I sold it I bought strut brace, lone filter and some lowering springs for it.
At the same time as owning the Wingroad there were two itches that I simply had to scratch, the scratching tools were a 1999 Nissan R34 GTR non vspec and the other a 1991 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R with the latter being turned into a track day toy.
The Pulsar was on sold after a few years, but I still have the GTR, I don't use it very often and it is completely standard bar a decat pipe.
I had at the time also imported my bikes which was still in South Africa. A Ducati 748 SPS and a MV Agusta F4S, I still have the bikes but don't have the time to ride them.

I traded the Wingroad on a low mileage 2008 Suzuki Swift Sport which I still have, it's a good little car, both me and my wife have one.
Mine is the pale blue one and my wife's the championship yellow one.
My old man also has a R35 GTR and a Renault Megane Sport which he will import to NZ later this year. When he arrived earlier this year he brought with him his Superformance GT40, Chevron B25 and McLaren M10B.
This is the day they arrived in NZ.
We then discovered that we almost immediately had a space problem as you can see.
We decided that we need a workshop for the two race cars, here they are at our workshop
Moved my GTR to the workshop so my Swift can fit into my garage.
We have since had a hoist installed to work on our cars.
I will be starting threads specifically for the race cars as well as my Swift and my GTR.

Yes the blue car is indeed the Rasheen. It is a full time 4 wheel drive, and the chassis is the same as a N14 Pulsar/Sunny.
It was a JDM only car, Nissan South Africa imported two of them for marketing research, and we were lucky enough to buy one when they were done with it.
It gave the worst MPG, and it was only a 1500cc. But I guess the fact that it was an auto, full time 4wd and the fact that I have a lead foot didn't really help
