Saxo vtr edge ed305 speakers

hi guys bought a vtr 2 months ago, its my first car and i love it but i need some questions answered about upgrading the front speakers. Id like to know your views on the edge ed305 component speakers, ive seen them in halfords and they seem to have decent specs, they have max power of 210 and rms is 240. Has anyone used these and if so are they any good or is there better speakers out there around the same price? Ive read the vtr has small mounting depths and the above speakers are 54mm would they fit ok or are they too big? Any advice would be much appreciated. Sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place please feel free to move it if i have.
