the end of my finger with a craft knife

it bloody hurt and bled a lot!

I stuck it back on and went to A & E and in my haste had stuck it on back to front ie the bit with my nail attached was in the middle of my finger lol

anyway got to hope it 'takes' after they took it off (ouch) and stuck it back correctly, back on wednesday to find out how it looks - caught it again and pissing blood through the bandage .going to relax for the rest of the day.

My mum did that a couple of years ago, except she didn't keep the bit that came off for some reason.

It did grow back, and you can't tell anything had happened if you look at her finger today!

I sliced my little finger off once playing football! I was tackled hard and when I landed, my hand landed on a shard of glass and cut the blighter off! They sewed it back on so all is good, well except it has no feeling hehe

Gory pictures are always good! You know you shouldn't look but there's something morbidly fascinating about it! smile

what...no pictures?

there have been a few different types of accident pics, like someone chopped of the tips of all their fingers oiling a motorbike chain or a dislocated foot from rugby.

now the foot.... that was a good one, and must have fkING hurt bad

It hurts a lot more when they're fiddling with it taking xrays and resetting it is torture. Can really feel it in the Achilles. Can we get some pics op?

You mother sliced half her finger off and it grew back?

Where were you born, Area 51?!

Yeah, think that power plant across the road might have had something to do with it wink

It was just the tip of her finger, and the doctor did think it would leave a perminant "dent", but it did grow back!

apparently its quite common for the bit stuck on to turn black and fall off but they are optimistic I will be okay and the end will 'take' as it were - got the dressing changed on wednesday and d day is Sunday when the wound can be bathed and all sticky stuff (cant remember name) can be removed to see what we have left.

How the body can stick bits back together when they fall off is beyond me at times. Now . . . pull yourself together!
