Upgrade from Arcam to what?

Hi All,

I currently have an Arcam AVR400 AV amp but am looking for a good quality upgrade.
No longer require the musical side of the Arcam and want the best quality for movies.

I do like the Onkyo amps.
A few years ago I had an 805 which was replaced by my previous Arcam 350.

Which one would you recommend?

You are looking at Serious money to improve the ARCAM. Maybe looking at Meridian, Chord or US kit to improve it and that takes it well beyond your budget. Maybe a set of ARCAM Power amps could do it?

The Arcam is very good. Nothi g at that price will improve on it. You could go for an AV600, but that's more expensive. Without going for insanely expensive American gear, Arcam is pretty well as good as it gets, with the AV888 processor and P777 amp.
