Hi Guys,

Thought I would show my 2012 Ford Focus. I have always been a petrol head and after my old Subaru Impreza was retired, I found myself in the market for a new hatch. I have always been a fan of the Ford Focus, so after a test drive (and checking out the competition), I ended up signing the dotted line on a brand new 2012 white 1.6 manual.

In Australia we have the 1.6 and the 2.0 litre direct injection petrol engines. I ended up going for the 1.6 simply because the car felt 'nicer' to drive (hydraulic steering rather than electric) and it was a fair chunk cheaper.

The first thing to be added was black alloys that have (in my opinion) made the car look completely different!

After 10500 kms (6500 miles) I felt the car needed more of a visual impact, so the car has received a set of matte black stripes.

As you can see the car has changed since I have had it! Now I know it is not the most 'interesting' of cars, however the car is an absolute cracker to drive, and although another 50bhp would be nice, the car loves to rev.

As far as I am concerned now, I have a unique Focus the way I want it to look. In good time, the car will be getting an ecu upgrade as well as a few other mods.

Stay tuned!

P.S Sorry about the sideways photos, having iPad issues :s

Looks really good with black wheels, however the stripes aren't doing it for me.

I quite like it apart from the stripes, and in a warmer country the white does not look so cold and non-descript.

Ditch the horizontal stripes as they do not suit anything, with maybe the exception of a jumper. wink

That car has a lot of grip for it to not just fall off the wall like that.

I agree, the wheels and stripes have completely transformed the appearance of your car.

For the worse...tongue out

Black wheels on white cars are overplayed and the new Focus is an ugly thing but I'd imagine it's a lovely drive, Focuses always have been.
