Hi Everyone,

Me and a friend are having a debate! I am saying that you could buy a NEW Sagaris when they were being built for £45k starting price... he is saying it started well over £60k. Can anyone show me where I can find old TVR price lists to prove which one of us is right!!!

I don't think he is going to take other peoples word against his, I want to show him price lists!!

Any help greatly appreciated, this could stop a 'sandwich thrown across office' incident! ;-)

Yep £49,350.00 according to the price list I have. So slightly more than you thought but no where near the £60k suggested by your friend. If they'd sold them at that they may have actually made some money on them.

Slightly = 5k out
No where near = 10k out.

So 5k above is slightly more than the 5k below plus 5k to 5k above.

Ok I'm bored and I'm on my way to Afghanistan for a day trip. smile

My Brochure from 2002 says £36,500 inc VAT (click for larger image)

I'm guessing at 2002 as it has the Tuscan R reg PN02ZNG in it as well.

On the invoice and price list supplied when I bought my Sag, the basic list price was £49,995. But when you add air con, one of the special paint finishes etc. etc, most as supplied would have been mid 50's. I remember trying to negotiate a discount at the time, but unlike earlier TVR's there was little wiggle room for the dealers.
