Hi,

Having aqcuired a new car. I am in need of selling the old one..

Its just passed its MOT - cost me £145 (needed some work doing to it)/ I am loathe to spend anything else on the car. Tax is due end of this year..

Shall i get 6 months worth? Its a MK1 Fabia VRS....not earth shattering expensive...

Just want rid of it.

You will probably have more chance of selling it with the tax, its a nightmare for buyers having to purchase an untaxed vehicle as there is a far greater risk nowadays getting caught chancing driving it home untaxed (ANPR etc).

Stick 6 months on it & raise your price by £50 to part cover the cost.

Or put tax available by seperate negotiation,

Or can tax at buyers expnse.

Not that difficult to be honest green slip to p.office with insurance.

I have never been stopped when driving home a vehicle with no tax after buying.(Usually late at night or Sunday)

Sounds good but I was scoping out the bottom, bottom of the market with my limited funds frown

Hope it goes to a good home though!
