We are adopting the mum of the two year old Cavalier king charles spaniel my sister owns.
She is certified as having clear heart and eyes, but unfortunately had trouble with her last (all healthy) litter and have to have a c-section to birth. the breeder is keeping a b!tch and my sister is having the other.

She has made a full recovery and is fighting fit weighing 10kg approx.Holly is 3 1/2 years old.

My sister moved from Pedigree to PAH's own brand, Wainwrights. He lost the pounds he needed to, and hiss coat is lovely.

But i have noticed on the net you can pick up more specialised food in 15kg bags for the same price

James well beloved
Burns
Arden Grange

She's currently being fed on Royal Canin, but the breeder says she's a dustbin. I just want the best for her.

So any advice on what to get?

Funnily enough Burns only recommend a 100g serving for a 10kg dog, but all the others say 160g?

Hi I use wainwrights which is the same as James well beloved its pets at home own but uses the same recipe just rebranded smile But have used both on our dogs we have a cavalier as well she loves both I would never use any other normal dog food after having ours on the hypoallergenic stuff. The coats are lovely and all very healthy on it we use both the soft ad the hard food. Ours love the soft food warmed up in the microwave really helps with dogs who are fussy with food smile
