So whilst our car's away getting a respray, we're thinking about colour coding the rear light units. We did this on the fronts when we bought it and it really lifted the design but i'm not sure if it'll look fussy on the back ones.

Did TVR ever start painting these bodycolour themselves? If so, anyone found/got any pictures?

Here's ours when it was new, and we're going back towards the same colour (Spectraflair topaz).

Any thoughts?

We're also looking around for some LED light units that would be a more modern look but am drawing a blank so far!

All the later ones had the front and rear light recesses painted body colour, changed around 2006 I think!

As for which looks better, I think it depends on the body colour, if the body colour is too light then the light cluster looks a little too busy. Spoils the clean lines of the MK 2 IMHO

Paul is correct Jan'06 changed to body colour although there are a few exceptions...Did not realise you had Di Cowburns' car (LadyTopaz) . Look at the convertible register for photos.

I hadn't realised mine wern't until today, dark colour and blacked out behind the covers make it more difficult to spot. I knew the front end wasn't but happy to live with it, and now the rear also it seems biggrin
