After a great day on the track on Saturday I would like to arrange another day soon.

I was thinking maybe 4-6 weeks time.

The last venue was Bedford Autodrome, but there is Snetterton, Brands hatch, Castle Combe and plenty of other venues including airfield days that are safer then safe!

Any takers and also any thoughts on venues?

I'm in Surrey and don't mind travelling 100-150 miles tops I guess.

Yes I'm in!

Have been looking myself, I'd love to do cadwell but its a long way from me in Essex, over 4 hours.

Brands or Bedford are good for me, not sure where snetterton is tbh. But I'm all ears for all suggestions.

Snetterton is on the A11 between Thetford and Norwich, about 35 miles north east of Cambridge. Depends where you are in Essex

Given that it's likely to be raining it'll probably be a little quiet so you probably aren't too late. Me and a couple of others are there tomorrow, so come and join us.

Honest answer - yes, you will need to gaffer tape the front of the car or get pebble dashed. I am going to try a can of Plastidip clear this time. Spray on, peel off later.

Snetterton 300 is on my "circuits to be done" list , have done the old circuit a couple times and don't remember too much to hit unless you lose it really big time.

I've done the new circuit 3 times and love it.

This is a really good circuit for TVRs, long straights, big bends and a wide track. Add to that plenty of run offs, garages and full refreshments its bloody great!

Very tempted by that at a cheap price but for the following reason;

Open pit lane for 40 mins of every hour as the other 20 mins is for formula 4 championship which would be interesting to watch anyhow!

My diary's clear for that day, ('cause there's bugger all work about!).

Any more?

Can I politely point out that on Saturday we all spent at least one third of the time exercising our jaws rather than our right feet? We just need to be more organised at Snetterton as to which 20 minutes in every hour we spend nattering!
I will be there if you fancy 17th April.....I should have the car back by then, the only proviso being that I might be running it in....... in to what. you ask? I guess I can always do 1000 miles of running in in 48 hours rather than the customary week.

By the way, I checked with Rob, the RAF Marham organiser, and there is still plenty of space at marham the following weekend (20/21st), and frankly anyone who can get to Snetterton can get to Marham, as it is about the same distance from the south east, and nearer to the midlands. And your £60 per day goes to SSAFA and Help the Heroes, rather than the well lined pockets of Dr Jonathan Palmer.
Not that I am trying to persuade you new track day converts to come....... type

Peter/Alun, if I have my car back in time you can drive it and help me test its handling/performance at Snetters.....I would welcome a comparison with your cars, both of which felt well quick to me (or maybe it was the drivers?)

It's the cars. Well I'm defo coming to Marham both days Anthony, in my car so we can have loads of fun. The best place to run your engine in I'd say, since Saturday the thing sounds so sweet. Not a tick or knock. Stay below 5500 and your bedding her in just nice. I'm looking forward to being chilled and driving slowly. Got someone lined up to do a job so I'm free!

The amount of work your getting done Anthony, will your car be ready.

Really like the two day thing,,,,, loads of time to really enjoy it.

This turning the track around, I can't remember it one way let alone the other!!!!

Hey chaps at Bedford did anyone like me go flying down the straights and wonder which one you were on! Lol
