Most expensive pint / spirit w/mixer you've ever paid?
Discussion
Just back from Paris, paid 11 euros for a pint of Henieken and 16 euros for a vodka with coke(a-cola)!
These wern't in nightclubs or directly beneath the Eifle tower either, just Brasserie/cafe type places littered around the city.
Spent an absolute fortune there!

Paris is an absolute joke - a smallish glass of coke cost me 8 Euros a couple of years ago. We decided to drink tap water on that holiday after we realised!
It is very expensive, though cigarettes are cheaper!Another annoyance was a very terrible chinese meal for what would of been a very high quality chinese meal in england price
I wonder what people strapped for cash do when they fly there on Easyjet for £40 to find out the first round of drinks exceeds the flight cost!

I bought a bottle of domestic lager and a single whiskey in a hotel in Japan that came to £25'ish. I was mortified. Shouldn't moan too much as all the tabs that week were picked up by our supplier.....Oh and a work dinner thing at the Grovesnor W1 was £7 for a bottle of bud 6 years back.
When you live in the sticks of Wales it comes as a bit of shock.

I've spent a lot of time in Norway but, funnily enough, avoid buying booze!
Most I've paid (my money!) is £225 for a dram of a very special Macallan. That was in Aberdeen.
Most expensive I've tried is £5k/bottle from Glenglassaugh. If any of that ever reaches a bar it will probably be ~£500-£1000 per measure...!

Geneva prices are ridiculous but I'm fairly used to them now (£7-8/pint is average in a pub). Even so, I occasionally get a massive shock. Went for a quiet drink with a friend and he was having a scotch so I just said ill have the same as you... 43chf 20ml. f
k, I don't even really like scotch that much but it was a whiskey bar. Also one sticks out in the mind as being a rip ordered a corona in a club, came to pay... "30chf please" WHAT?!
Latest one was 400chf for a litre of absolut vodka (same as you get in the offy for £12). Joke.
