Did your disc 1 get stolen too?
No, it's stopped working...It was in the xbox at the time, somebody came along and took the case, with a few other games.
Fortunately, I keep the playing discs seperately, so whoever it was made off with a load of empty cases with the exception of Forza, which had disc 2 still in the case.

Did you chuck this disc one out? If not what you could to is borrow a friend's copy of both discs, install both discs to the hard drive and use your broken disc one to start the game. It only has to check the game is there at the beginning so doesn't read much of it, you can still have a huge scratch and it still work.
Still got it, but the xbox can't read the disc to start with, and when it can I can play the game for a bit and eventually an error message comes up saying disc unreadable... Already been installed to hard drive.Big Fat Fatty said:
You're having the same trouble as I had with my old Elite model Xbox, will it read other discs fine?
In mine the disc drive needed replacing, or you could try taking it apart and cleaning the laser thingy. Other than that it's time for a new one or less Forza I'm afraid.
Other discs work fine. The problem is the Essentials edition I bought isn't recognising the fact that the disc 2 content is present...In mine the disc drive needed replacing, or you could try taking it apart and cleaning the laser thingy. Annoyed me no end. I could see the car packs when I went into the storage settings of the Xbox, even the date they were installed. But the poverty spec copy wouldn't read the data.Want me to pm you my reference number from customer support so you can say you have the same problem and you want it resolved the same way?

The reason it took 3 months for me is because that included christmass and I told them about my problem over live chat. Whoever the call centre-esque person is who you deal with there was pretty good. They got my problem and understood. They then passed it on to the technical numpty who said something along the lines of:
"To access cars you have gained via DLC, go to the Auto Show at the central complex and select 'buy car'. You should then be able to access this car from your garage.
I hope this helps.
Technical Numpty - Microsoft Customer Support"
... that's reffering to Forza Horizon, not FM3.
Second attempt.
"To gain access to the DLC cars, simply re-download them from the marketplace. you will not be charged again.
I hope this helps.
Technical Numpty #2 - Microsoft Customer Swamprat"
Third attempt again stating that I didn't download it in the first place. It came off a physical medium available with the collectors edition.
"Download it, you should not be charged...
EDIT: here's a code for some MS points to cover the cost
