Wedges at the TVRCCC Cobweb Run.
Discussion
Just a couple were roaring around the Yorkshire Dales last Sunday...along with another 40-50 other cars....mainly tivs.
Sorry, but I was passengering in a Chimaera, but then again, Richard (Trickie Dickie) had forsaken his 400SE to be occupying (fully...lol!) the passenger seat of a commendably noisy T350C, which sounded like a mobile firework display.

Thank you for posting the pictures of the car and the comments, sorry I was distracted by the brakes. after coming down a hill into Kirkby Stephen the brake pedal sank to the floor three or four inches, after this I had to pump the pedal to brake, after the short rest in Kirkby Stephen the brakes were fine, going to get them checked out this week.
Apart from the brakes really enjoyed the run, must apologise to the guy in the tamora I was following who knew the brakes
We're dodgy.

Hi Bryan...nice to meet you and your partner, if briefly, and sorry I missed the '400' off your PH name.
Also good to hear that your braking problem didn't put you out of the run.
Hopefully it will be something easily put right (cylinder seals ?).
It was nice to see your Wedge attracting so much attention. What a great day, and you (of course) were travelling true Wedger style in that freezing cold...top down.
I also had a 400SE...once.

Mine did the exact same thing - sounds like you need a new master cylinder, not worth messing around with replacing seals as a cylinder is pretty cheapDanny Hoffman said:

They could have just overheated, especially if it was a 'spirited' run. Are you using 5.1 brakes fluid?
Hope im wrong but I had tge same problem on the way to the wedge fest a few years ago and I believe wedg1e had the same. On ours it was the rear brakes binding on and we both had to rebuild the rear braking system. Lije I said I hope I'm wrong cause it's a C@#T of a jobmojo 400 said:
Thank's for the advice, haven't had a chance to look at the car yet, brake fluid is dot4.
Hope it's not the rear brakes binding Dix
Have been doing a few track days in mine so went for dot 5.1 and also braided hoses. Apart from the first track day where I stayed out too long the brakes have coped well.Hope it's not the rear brakes binding Dix
