XK - What to look for?

I am looking to change my 2002 e39 530i for an XK 4.2 v8 at some point.

I am very much hunting around the bottom of the market (£13-14k) but as I gather alot of these are 1/2 owner cars with high miles and full jag histories.

Is there anything to look out for specifically, particularly as they get older? I know some other alu bodies jaguars have some corrosion issues, are they a problem with these vehicles?

Apart from the usual things, is there any specific maintenance/wear issues I should keep my eye out for?
