Door ruber membrane

Hello,

I have my door cards out at the moment, what glue should I use to stick the rubber membrane back in?

Any advice appreciated.

Lay a thin string of PU sealant (sikaflex, Wurth bond'n'seal etc) then just press the membrane on.

Hi Paul,

I suggest use a good contact adhesive. Sikaflex can be a bit too secure for easy dismantling in future.
My membrane also has 4 screws and cup washers (in the corners) to hold it in position while the glue properly sets.

My TVR is a bit older than yours but I used double sided tape...


Loctite, or Gorilla Tape sell some seriously sticky stuff
