I know some of you have done this, fitted a TRW GEN2 PAS pump from a MK4 Astra. I'm doing the same but can someone tell me the connector size type needed for the high pressure hose between this pump and a TVR PAS rack.

Also what length belt for a serp once the original pump has been removed.

Thanks.

I have a Vectra pump fitted which looks the same out of interest.

I took the pump + the rack fitting to Pirtek.

Are you just running water pump and alternator, if so, I'll measure mine.

Your alt pulley will need over 50mm longer belt than std...

Whether using JE alt bracket or std bracket & tensioner also affects belt size...

probably apples & pears?

I do have a belt which fits just crank, water pump, standard alt + tensioner if that is the OP's situation its a 7PK1290 IIRC.

Quite right spend as I have the larger altenator pulley!

Thanks phazed, the picks on your profile page have helped me for suggestions for locations of the pump and I noticed that you were running a shorter belt that I was planning to do. If you would measure your belt that would be great even if you have a larger alt pulley, it would confirm my measurement is not way out!

Which Pirtek did you go to? A Google search brings up a few, or are they all the same company just different locations...

Thanks for your help.
