Extending LSx throttle pedal cables
Discussion
Hi guys,
If you have bought a standard ECU and loom for your LSx engined car, then it will probably be for a front engined car which means the throttle pedal 6 core cable is too short. I wanted to use the same spec of the original to extend it and it's sold by CPC Farnell. It's a 6 core screened multicore cable with 0.5mm2 cores and an integral screen trace wire. You can't buy it by the metre, I had to buy 25m of the stuff and used about 3m in the end, so I have 22m spare! It cost £44 for a 25m reel.
If anyone would like any for the same job just let me know. Drop a mail to trevor.chesterton@gmail.com and a few quid via paypal to cover postage and a beer would be great. I'll give you some free if you get to Leicester where the car is, but don't want to end up paying 7 postage costs to Outer Mongolia or somewhere more obscure like Chelmsford
, hope I'm not being mean.
Hope this helps someone out.
