My '89 Renault 5 GT Turbo
Discussion
i'm sure i've posted a brief pic of this before, but been busy working on it lately so thought i'd share some pics... i know its not to everyones taste, but its my graft, built not bought so no sending off to tuners with blank cheques, all my trial end error... oh and i'm self taught too, my day job is a desk job, its after work the spanners come out to play :P

Thanks for comments, the 'decal' is actually painted on, the pic of it doesn't to it any favours but it's a checkered flag, to match back of my seats and the spoiler. Sam yes I'm on there... Search 'Markey b' ;-)
Just realised the pics are pants and don't show half the work that's gone into it, and photo bucket has changed so I can't see how to select multiple pics to link :-(

Last dyno was 217bhp and 256lb/ft, that was about 4 years ago on a standard cam, it's had loads of bits since, including mappable ignition and no more dizzy and coil, and more boost :-)
Should be about 230-240 now, with more torque than last time, will get some more numbers as soon as the ignition is mapped, hopefully in a month or two :-)
I had a raider as a daily a few years ago, did 10k in a year, and not one breakdown, head gasket or blown anything :-)

Nice. Not my way of doing things, but, I can appreciate that. I would put it back to standard.
Not many left of these now.
ps nice harnesses.
What a stupid thing to say. Why not just buy a standard one in the first place! Not many left of these now.
ps nice harnesses.
BTW I was dreading seeing this because I'm not a fan of massively exterior styled GTTs but I actually like this one. Its borderline in your face.
Hate seeing pictures of GTTs though as It just makes me ache for another.
