Quick question

Ever since I've had my Cerb (a speed 6) the fans have switched off with the ignition. A while back the car overheated whilst sat in my drive after a run and blew a hose off. Thats all been corrected now but I noticed yesterday that the temp gauge went up after switching off and I am fearful of a repeat. In every other car I've owned with electric fans they stay on after the engine. Should a cerb do the same ie do I have a fault?
Hmmm thanks. At tickover the fans cut in and out with the temp moving between an indicated 100 and 105. I just assumed the gauge was over-reading (and it may have been) until the issue on the driveway. Yesterday after switching off the gauge rose to 110 and then hit the stop. No coolant loss though, maybe I am over concerned because of what happened before. I'd be happier if it was runnng a little cooler, I am nervous about taking it out if there may be heavy traffic on part of the journey.
