Have you tried BGH gearboxes, they may be able to help or point you in the right direction.

Have you tried the usual TVR parts people like Adrian Venn ?

There's one on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-Cosworth-Sie...

The cover plate also appears on Ebay every now and then.

I tried to write to BGH but these guys
keep their Email a secret.
I have to find another way…

I wrote Adrian some days ago.
Maybe he's out of town.

Thanks
Jo

I'm looking for the same boot without any success. The one on Ebay will not fit in my view. I have some time ago asked the seller for dimensions and the reply was: 100mm long X 60mm wide at the rear, tapering to 55mm at the front so I can't see how that will fit the 105 X 75mm hole in the bellhousing. I have also contacted the Capri Club but they do not have any, new or secondhand. Please let me know if you find a source. As for the plate, there is one on Ebay at the moment with a starting bid of £40 and 2 days to go; you should find it with an "essex v6" search.

Not sure if they're the right ones still.

I believe the ones for crossflow engines are a different size again, the one on our 1600M is different to the one we need for the Taimar anyway.

Does your 1600M have a gaitor that looks similar or does it have a flat one like mine?
