It seems every game you go into these days on B.Ops 2, there are people sitting in rooms or corners on most maps with tactical insertions killing each other in various ways to boost up.

What is the mentality of these people? Much preferred the good old days, back in COD 2 days when you just went into lobbies, started a game, shot people and moved on.

Now with leader boards etc, people seem more concerned with getting the next camo for a gun, etc, than playing the game.

I have to say that the biggest culprits by far are kids, who shouldn't even be playing the games.

Anyone else yearn for the good old days?

I would play just to ruin their plan, the one thing I cannot tolerate was on black ops 1, don't know about two as I didn't even complete the campaign before I sold it, but the one thing would be starting a game with your friends, discussing in a private party exactly what you were going to do and where you would go and then 1 kill and there's chopper gunners in the air and dogs chasing you! Mental really

Boosting doesn't make you a better player though, since you're not properly 'playing' the game. It just helps you level up faster and get to the tops of leaderboards. It's very sad, really!

There are dedicated twitter and Facebook accounts whose sole purpose is to hunt down boosters.

Agree with the fact regarding what pleasure you gain from this? Players caught boosting get their stats reset so why bother.

I don't get the problem? The fact they do it shows they get some enjoyment from it and if they aren't killing you it's easy kills for you?

I play battlefield so you don't get that stuff as adults play battlefield.

I've never understood why snipers get complained at for that, it's their bloody job...

100% agree. In black ops the snipers run round and can quick scope faster than most guns so not really realistic.

But by accepting it you have two or more players every game gifting kills. Now, don't get me wrong, it is just a game but teams do try to win. It's pathetic when one of the boosters has a k d ratio of 1:40 and the other booster has called in kill streak after kill streak.

1:40 is my usual k/d ratio on BF3...but that's coz I'm truly crap,not a booster.
