I haven't used my PS3 for about two years now. I've gone to charge the controller up but none of the lights are flashing etc. Is this normal because it's completely out of charge?

Cheers, PH95.

It needs to be 'awake', so plugged into the PS3 or a PC, not just a wall charger. Light should flash to say it's charging, constant when full.
Stupid design.

This is very annoying. It will charge from a pc that's on as well though. Mine will also charge from the usb port on the O2 joggler I use as a squeezebox which is handy but not from most other devices I have with a usb port, including the sky box frown
