What will you mostly be doing this weekend?
I had hoped that the temperature would be somewhat higher by now and being out in the workshop is quite a challenge if I don't put the heater on. I've used 900 litres of kero over the winter and really don't want to buy any more.
I am working on refurbishing and modifying my old front clip to enable it to fit to the car with the splitter. It will look a lot more 'standard Ultima' but with a large "mouth" and with hinges that work with the chassis mounted splitter.
It has quite a few stress cracks which I will also rectify. I am planning on trying my hand at painting it myself this time!! So it may look carp!
Also going to change from individual brake reservoirs to the current Factory setup.
What plans have others got and is the chilly weather keeping you out of the garage?

That's the problem with working...........you have to do it even when the weather is carp or lovely.
My garage is a hobby, I do it when I want to and I don't work well when I'm cold!!! Work fits in around my life now as I'm semi-retired.
Sounds like your business is growing nicely Steve. Glad to see it's a success at a time when things are not easy.

I'm finally mounting and riveting the panels after having (finally...) got back the chassis which was away for close to a month for collision resistance analysis. Contrary to you, I have shut off my workshop heater since a couple of days, as temperatures here are hovering around 15°c and the sun is out.
i had a weekend planned with friends from Wales and a run out with Martin in his Ultima to a secret supercar meet...shhhhhhh
Its been cancelled as supercars and slow ploughs havent caught on yet.
so F1 and fiddle in the garage. central locking done, day time running lights, dash next..
Like to modify my splitter to be solid like yours and standard clip via that great hinge setup in the states..

Dom, I would be interested in your daylight running lights solution. They are mandatory here so will need to incorporate in the build. Its been cancelled as supercars and slow ploughs havent caught on yet.

Well, that'll do me for the weekend..... garage re-organised after my new roll cab arrived, which was long overdue TBH. On the car, I got the front clam latched, the rear lights fitted (after reaming out the holes, grrr), rear sub-loom fitted, side repeaters fitted, clutch & brake fluids added. Need a better EZ-Bleed to get the last of the trapped air out tho'

Hey Dom, I had an invite to that as well, see you at the next one, but Ultima won't be done by then so I'll have to go in a lowly B3S, in case you see me first
