Where can i buy some 15" Steel wheels for my mx5?

The alloys on my mk2 mx5 are fooked. Thinking about just putting my tyres on a set of steelies and having that back to basics look (its a poverty spec 1.6).
The question is where can i buy them? I could only find mega wide ones for stretched tyres etc..

If I remember correctly, the PCD for the mx5 is 4x100?

I'm pretty sure from my VW owning days that the G60 winter steelies are still available from VW dealers at around £40 each.. These are 15 inch by 6j. May be a thought.

I think the 'S spec' Mx5 came on steelies from the factory.
Stripped down, no frills car ready to be race modded.

Just scribble 'S - Spec' on your car somewhere and convince everyone its an ultra rare one!

E- bay would be my best guess

ETA 4x100 isds also the PCD used by early Fords, maybe fiesta, KA?

If your anywhere near staffordshire ive got some 16" (non standard) alloys you can have for £50. Came on my mk2.5 but i switched to oem wheels. Tons of tread on the fitted ditchfinder tyres on them too!

Ford is 4x108 pcd, along with Citroen, Peugeot etc.

He can use 4 x 100 so Vw, vauxhall, MG/Rover, Renault will fit the mx5

Can you not get 14 inch wheels? Genuine question as back to basic look would be 14 inch?

Steelies are like rocking horse.......i have been down that route i manage to 4 brand new ones with yokohama ad460 brand new for £200 try gumtree as well and push comes to shove you can always get them refurbed.

I my old alloys with nuts and locking nutx coming up for sale soo .

Your next challenge will be centre caps.

On monday morning call paul at ph sports cars 01332 799298 and he might have some steel wheels but he will have some centre caps plain or logo ones for £5 each.......not £7.50 or £15 or £20 as seen else where. Tell him justin gave you number nice guy

15" and 16" available. The PCD is correct and the centre bore is about 5mm larger, so they'll fit (whether its ideal or not always causes arguments).

why steelies? i've just got a set a set of mk1 daisy wheels with road legal tyres (ok they are woosung) for £50 off ebay.
